Second Series of AcT-ODI Studies

In April 2014, we posted the first set of the AcT and ODI collaborative studies called, “Unblocking results II: how can aid address governance constrains in public service delivery?”. The studies aimed to assess features of interventions that are most effective in supporting improvements in service delivery,  provide recommendations to help improve the performance of aid delivery and service delivery at the country level.

The following questions were investigated:

  • How have aid activities alleviated the common governance constraints?
  • Which enabling factors should aid programmes prioritise when attempting to address the governance constraints of interest, and why?
  • What constrains aid organisations in responding to the enabling factors? How can these constraints be overcome?

The remaining two case studies can be read here and here.
