Approach to Partnership

In the context of donor-recipient relationships the term ‘partnership’ is frequently used and abused and has been the subject of an almost overwhelming amount of theorising. Since the inception of the AcT programme, we have reflected on our own approaches and an increasingly clear vision has emerged of what we believe it means for an organisation to become an AcT ‘partner’.  As we move into the programme’s second phase, providing funding up to 2014/15, we feel it is important to share and explain this vision to ensure that there is a common understanding of the nature of the relationships we are hoping to form and of the respective undertakings and expectations of the AcT programme and its grantees.
